“COUNTRY TO LIVE”

Political Party’s Strategic Plan

The Armenian people deserve to live in safety, security, and happiness in their historical homeland, in line with their vision of a just society, strong family values, and overall human well-being. The “Country to Live” political party emerges as a new force, uniting caring and active Armenians in the mission to build a robust, safe, and modern country. Our goal is to create a country that benefits all citizens, and compatriots willing to contribute to the homeland’s development, rather than catering to a select few officials and their relatives.

Our mission extends beyond merely forming a new political party and winning through honest struggle. We aim to ‘restart’ Armenian statehood with fresh principles, innovative approaches, and a team of dedicated professionals. We believe in Armenia’s potential to stand equal among the world’s strongest countries.

We envision a new Armenia: a modern, technological state with a forward-looking vision, uniting all Armenians under a national idea. Our goal includes fostering an advanced economy, maintaining a powerful army, developing a robust democracy, and ensuring education and healthcare systems that rival the world’s best. Additionally, we strive to create a comfortable living environment for all.

In the face of global tectonic shifts and new challenges, we pledge to preserve the demographic, economic, and ideological stability of Armenia and the Armenian nation. Our strategy for success lies in adhering to a few core principles:

  1. Visionary purpose or Mission defining what we strive to achieve.
  2. Clearly formulated strategic goals to guide our vision.
  3. A comprehensive action plan with short-term and medium-term objectives to achieve our goals.
  4. Meritocratic Governance: Prioritizing knowledge, expertise, and achievements in national leadership.
  5. Implementing effective measures against corruption and promoting civic engagement.
  6. Leveraging international expertise for national development.
  7. Focusing on tangible and measurable results rather than political posturing.

We possess all the necessary resources to create an “Armenian miracle” and build a country that fills all Armenians with pride. Properly harnessing our efforts is key to realizing this vision.

The main points of our program are as follows:

1. RELIABLE SECURITY SYSTEM

Reliable Security = Strategic Defense Industry + Strategic Diplomacy + Strong Economy + Universal Military Preparedness+ Honored Military Service

To prevent war, we must be well-prepared for it.

Our primary objective is to establish peace throughout the Republic of Armenia as a key aspect of national development. We are committed to reducing the risk of any external military threat. Our strategy is to ensure that potential aggressors are fully aware of Armenia’s defensive capabilities, which will consist of a strong, well-trained, mobile, and combat-ready army, equipped with modern weaponry. To build such armed forces, we must undertake several extensive initiatives, including the creation of a strategic defense industry. The military-industrial complex, functioning as a distinct sector of the economy, will ensure the scientific development and production of essential weaponry and the creation of advanced defensive military-technical systems.

A strong economy is fundamental to upholding the country’s security. It not only provides funding for the defense budget but also drives innovation in technologies and solutions for the military-industrial complex. In our envisioned state model, the army will evolve from being merely a resource consumer to an active contributor to economic growth, thereby ensuring investment security in Armenia. This transformation will establish a symbiotic relationship: the economy will support the army, while the army, in turn, will reinforce economic development.

Our military reform will be comprehensive, transitioning to a contract-based professional service, developing foreign intelligence capabilities, implementing new standards for command staff training and operations management, reorganizing combat training, and introducing socio-economic measures to support servicemen and their families. We aim to strengthen the bond between the Armenian people and the army, making military service a source of pride and respect. To boost public support, we will initiate a broad program including volunteer efforts, educational initiatives, and special privileges for civil servants conscripted for military service, as well as university admission privileges for military personnel.

Considering Armenia’s historical context of neighboring adversaries, we propose implementing universal military training for the entire population. This would strengthen public support for the army and enhance strategic security. This approach would ensure that every capable adult is trained in rifle handling and first aid, signaling to potential aggressors that every household is prepared to defend itself effectively. In the event of an attack, the aggressor would face not only a professional military but millions of patriotic, motivated, and defensive citizens. This program would offer women equal opportunities to serve alongside men in the armed forces, based on their desire and qualifications. Implementing such an initiative would require careful assessment of public opinion and extensive awareness campaigns to inform and engage the population.

Armenia’s sovereignty and independence in foreign policy are non-negotiable. We seek to establish respectful relations with neighboring countries to ensure regional peace while also positioning Armenia as a dignified and reliable partner on the global stage.

Strategic diplomacy should become a key element of our national security approach, effectively championing the ‘Armenian agenda’ globally. To address current turbulent times and conflicts, we will leverage our top diplomatic talent, our nation’s collective wisdom, and unwavering negotiation skills without compromising our interests. We will begin by appointing exceptional ambassadors to countries crucial for Armenia, including UN Security Council members and allied countries that align with our national priorities. Next, after careful consideration of our interests and potential risks, we will prepare to establish diplomatic ties with Turkey and consider opening borders.

The Issue of Artsakh will be the top agenda item in Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, serving as a gateway to resolving other disputes. While we recognize the challenges ahead, we firmly believe it is essential for our country’s future.

Our security formula integrates a modern professional army, supported by a domestic military-industrial complex and a strong economy. It also includes a broad base of military-trained citizens and ‘smart diplomacy’ to protect Armenia’s interests across all strategic foreign policy fronts.

2. FREE ARTSAKH

Free Artsakh = Armenia’s Powerful Army as a Pillar + International Security Guarantees + Effective Diplomacy + Recognition of Artsakh’s Right to Self-Determination

The people of Artsakh have the inherent right to self-determination.

Artsakh represents an integral component of Armenian statehood. Without Artsakh, the integrity and security of the Armenian state are compromised. The responsibility for safeguarding Artsakh’s future lies primarily with us, not external actors. Armenia must serve as the principal guarantor of Artsakh’s right to self-determination and its people’s right to live freely on their ancestral lands. This moment is pivotal, testing our political maturity and state resilience.

The “Country to Live” party is resolutely committed to pursuing international recognition of Artsakh’s right to self-determination. Our strategy will be anchored in Armenia’s powerful military capabilities, international security guarantees, and adept diplomacy. Armenia’s foreign policy will prioritize the negotiated resolution of the Artsakh conflict and global acknowledgment of its right to self-determination. The Artsakh issue must be at the forefront of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, serving as a prerequisite for addressing all other disputes.

We will reintegrate Artsakh into Armenia’s strategic interests, establishing a unified political, economic, educational, and cultural framework. Our goal is to secure Free Artsakh as an important part of the Great Armenian World. We reject a victim mentality; we are a people who have persevered and triumphed.

3. STRONG AND THRIVING ECONOMY

Strong Economy = Science & Technology-Based + Business Literacy + Freedom of Entrepreneurship + Investment Support + Military-Industrial Complex + Open Transport Communication + Modern Standards = 5-Fold GDP Growth in 20 Years

Armenia ranks among the top 30 countries globally in per capita GDP.

The Armenia of the future will feature a strong economy, modern infrastructure, flourishing business climate, innovative industries, and highly skilled workforce, underpinned by effective procedures and management. The “Country to Live” party’s main economic objective is to increase Armenia’s GDP fivefold within 20 years and position the country among the top 30 countries worldwide in GDP per capita. Achieving these ambitious targets, particularly given current circumstances, requires us to reassess conventional economic approaches. We need bold yet well-considered strategies to enable as many Armenian citizens as possible to generate added value through their work and drive economic progress. Our economic vision draws from the successful practices of small economies and leverages Armenia’s key competitive sectors in light of global trends.

Stable economic growth can be achieved through the use of three key levers:

Considering the opportunities and risks, we have identified priority sectors with rapid growth potential that can synergistically revitalize Armenia’s economy. These sectors are technology, the military-industrial complex, tourism, and agriculture.

The technology sector can achieve fourfold growth by enhancing exports, boosting labor productivity, and attracting qualified personnel. The development of high technologies in Armenia will hinge on two key factors: a) creating solutions through in-depth analysis to utilize existing competencies, and b) transitioning from low-cost outsourcing to specialized services and high-value-added solutions. This approach will not only boost labor productivity but also shield the local market from the encroachment of global companies. To foster this growth, we need to establish favorable conditions for building a local talent pool and promoting skilled professionals. This includes developing comfortable working and living environments in Yerevan and other cities, opening start-up centers, and ensuring access to venture capital for IT entrepreneurs. We will achieve an increase in government spending on scientific research, scientific-industrial, and experimental projects; increase investment in high-quality technology education; and attract foreign specialists through improved infrastructure, financial incentives, and legislative solutions. The cornerstone of technological development should be rooted in national science. Armenia was once a global innovation hub during the USSR era, and today, we have the resources to regenerate qualified personnel and establish institutes and laboratories. This will foster successful accelerators and startups at the intersection of science, business, and public interest. We will create conditions to harness and realize the scientific and intellectual potential of our people for the benefit of the country.

Developing Armenia’s military-industrial complex into a distinct economic sector could serve as a new locomotive for economic growth. This approach would not only attract skilled professionals, create jobs, and foster new economic avenues, but also facilitate the import of weapons, technologies, and dual-use products. Such development is crucial for the country, especially considering potential import restrictions or disruptions due to geopolitical risks.

The tourism sector in Armenia holds immense potential but remains underdeveloped. It has the capacity to generate ten times its current income. We will achieve this by increasing direct flights and affordable ticket prices, launching targeted advertising and PR campaigns in key regions and countries, and enhancing Armenia’s transport and hotel infrastructure.

Given the high competition from neighboring countries like Georgia and Turkey, we need a fresh strategy for tourism development. This strategy will draw on successful global practices in investment, management, and specialist training. Key to our success will be affordable pricing, the development of comfortable tourist infrastructure, effective logistics, and a range of tourism programs, including cultural, adventure, religious, eco, and agritourism.

Armenia’s rich history and cultural heritage present an opportunity to develop a mega project that could attract millions of pilgrims to the birthplace of Christianity. To realize this potential, we need innovative concepts, effective marketing strategies, and strong public-private financial support and dialogue. Above all, we need the political will to drive these changes forward. We possess that will and determination.

In addition to focusing on the priority sectors of the economy, the “Country to Live” party considers a free enterprise policy as essential for Armenia. We recognize private initiative as a key driver of economic growth. By offering concrete benefits to small businesses, streamlining the business environment, providing access to affordable loans, and implementing a national business literacy program, we aim to engage tens of thousands of small entrepreneurs in the economy. Our goal is to create an economic landscape that nurtures the growth of every business entity, with robust and effective public-private sector collaboration as a vital development tool.

Armenia is set to become a prime investment destination. Amid the global market shifts, Armenia is emerging as an attractive center for business, creative industries, IT, and large-scale international investments. We are dedicated to supporting investors by creating the most favorable conditions for capital inflow into our economy. We will rigorously eliminate corruption and bureaucratic barriers that impede investment projects, and we will establish an optimal environment for new companies and international ventures. Each Armenian region will have its own “Wings of Tatev” to stimulate local development.

Open transport communication is crucial for building a robust economy. The free flow of ideas, specialists, capital, tourists, goods, and technologies is essential for Armenia’s sustained economic growth. Our country’s long-term, sustainable development depends on the synergy of three key forces: the state, the diaspora, and the business community. By integrating these elements, we will foster a robust and thriving economy in Armenia.

Agricultural Sector: Armenia’s agriculture has the potential to increase production fivefold, and we have a clear strategy to achieve this goal. Our approach focuses on optimizing land use through recultivation, enhancing yields with new technologies, and advancing seed production using cutting-edge agricultural innovations. We must prioritize the production essential for food security. We aim to expand exports of fruits, tobacco, and wine products to key markets, including Russia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and others. Establishing agricultural centers will be crucial to support farmers, teach modern farming methods, and implement advanced irrigation systems such as drip irrigation nationwide.

4. COUNTRY AS A BRIDGE, NOT A DEAD END

Opening Armenia to the World = A “Wonder of the World” Level Project + 50,000 Diaspora Experts + 100,000 Experts Trained Abroad + Trilingual Business Environment + 10,000 Host Families + International Conferences and Festivals + Knowledge Hubs in Education, Medicine, IT, and More.

Armenia, the homeland of the Holy Translator.

We believe that the current global transformations offer Armenia a unique opportunity to reshape its future and achieve a significant leap towards becoming a leading global power. To drive rapid growth, we must open Armenia to the world, establishing it as a new international hub and a bridge between civilizations. History provides examples of such transformations, and Armenia possesses distinct competitive advantages that we can leverage to create our own “Armenian economic miracle”. Our key advantages include:

Our greatest asset is the Diaspora, which can drive Armenia’s economic, scientific, and educational advancement. We must shift from viewing the Diaspora as merely a source of financial aid to seeing it as a dynamic partner in Armenia’s future development. This requires transforming the traditional, passive approach of receiving aid into an active, collaborative engagement. The Diaspora should play a pivotal role in shaping Armenia’s future, beyond preserving our historical legacy or documenting past achievements and setbacks. Diaspora members should be granted real, substantial rights to actively contribute to Armenia’s progress.

We will implement a clear and balanced repatriation policy to attract Armenian professionals and their families from around the globe, boosting Armenia’s economy and reinforcing connections with the Diaspora. Our plan includes creating favorable conditions to relocate 50,000 high-level professionals, including managers, financiers, economists, lawyers, and IT experts, to Armenia, and sending 100,000 Armenian professionals abroad for advanced studies. These efforts will infuse Armenia with global knowledge, experience, and skills, driving economic progress. We will introduce three procedural languages to facilitate smoother administrative processes in state bodies and enterprises.

The concept of a “hub” envisions establishing a free economic and scientific-technological zone within Armenia. As a member of the Eurasian Economic Union and a signatory to the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement with the EU, Armenia is well-positioned to develop into a hub to produce essential equipment and technologies for modernizing both its economy and that of other countries. This zone will leverage Armenia’s rich scientific heritage and highly skilled specialists, aiming to reduce unemployment and labor migration and fostering a new era of breakthrough development.

Armenia can become an international educational hub by integrating its higher education institutions with leading global universities. It will reshape the country’s image and attract talented young individuals from various countries, addressing the challenges of limited mobility and the growing demand for prestigious education. The success of UWC Dilijan International College demonstrates the feasibility of this approach. We will enhance this advanced experience by establishing supportive political, economic, and legal conditions.

Armenia will also host international conferences, symposiums, and festivals to bring top experts to the country in fields like science, technology, education, and business.

By leveraging our human capital and competitive advantages, and focusing on targeted Diaspora and repatriation policies, we can transform Armenia into a cross-civilizational center.

5. RESTART OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

New Public Administration System = Digital Transformation + Professionalism + Training and Certification + Results Measurement + Transparency + Feedback + Fight Against Corruption and Inevitability of Punishment (Independent Judicial System)

A streamlined and professional state, dedicated to serving the people.

To build a ‘country to live’, we need a new, efficient public administration system. Mere institutional reforms, name changes in governmental bodies, or constitutional amendments will not suffice.

Given the failures of past attempts to build Armenian statehood - largely due to the mechanical adoption of Western European models or the imposition of Soviet universalism - we propose a comprehensive and systematic restart of Armenian statehood that prioritizes state and national values. This new approach should be grounded in the cultural traditions and social bonds of the Armenian family and community. The “Family-community-state” framework is a unique identity formula for re-establishing state governance. The supreme power and decision-making system must remain connected to the real-world needs, goals, and values of Armenian families.

To survive in the competitive geopolitical landscape and address internal challenges, Armenia needs a strong and smart state. Government employment should be based on professionalism and skills rather than kinship, with meritocracy and fair compensation forming the foundation of public sector reforms. Implementing a system of key performance indicators (KPI) will help evaluate officials’ professional suitability, ensuring that only competent individuals occupy positions. Annual certification and continuous training for civil servants will promote their professional development. While upholding the supremacy of the official Armenian language, introducing three working languages will attract top global management specialists.

Restarting the legal and judicial branches of government is essential for an uncompromising fight against corruption in public institutions. Achieving genuine judicial independence, reforming the appointment and promotion processes for judges, and ensuring transparency in these procedures are important steps. Judges must be able to make decisions against corrupt officials without fear of retaliation or career repercussions.

The digital transformation of the entire state apparatus is a primary objective for our political party. Electronic management and document circulation should minimize citizen interaction with the public administration system. Embracing electronic governance and cutting-edge technology will revolutionize our bureaucracy, bringing unprecedented transparency to official activities and allowing for clear measurement of outcomes. Citizens will receive prompt feedback on their requests, eliminating the need to endure long, humiliating queues. These changes will not only address vital issues for Armenian citizens but also enhance respect and trust in public institutions.

6. REVITALIZING QUALITY OF LIFE: EDUCATION, HEALTHCARE, AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Enhanced Living Standards = Modernized Education + Advanced Healthcare + Reconstruction + Infrastructure + New Environment (Clean Air, Water, And Food)

Armenia: The best country to live in, offering the highest quality of human life.

In Armenia’s challenging geopolitical context and with limited natural resources, developing human capital is paramount. It is the foundation of national wealth and the primary driver of 21st-century economic growth, making it the sole route to prosperity.

Achieving this is only realistic with a radical improvement in the quality of life across Armenia. This encompasses wide-ranging reforms in education and healthcare, bettering the overall living conditions, building new infrastructure in cities and rural areas, and promoting culture, arts, and sports. It also necessitates a new approach to environmental monitoring and controlling air, water, and food quality.

Education shapes the country’s future. Armenia’s trajectory in the coming 15-20 years hinges on the knowledge imparted to children today. Therefore, education reforms are a top priority, though even with sweeping changes, the actual results will take years to manifest. The growth potential across all spheres of life and economic branches depends on these educational outcomes.

Educational system reform, beginning at the pre-school level, should align with top international standards.

Key initiatives include:

School education should focus primarily on student socialization, developing national-civic identity, and civic education. This approach aims to help children reach their full potential and integrate successfully into society.

For higher education, the goals are to significantly improve university teaching quality, enhance educators’ skills, and attract top international talent. This manifesto emphasizes that social status should not hinder access to higher education.

We will establish a clear legal framework for public-private partnerships to foster growth in private educational institutions. Key indicators of higher education reform success will include achieving high global rankings for Armenian universities and increasing international student enrollment. To achieve these goals, we will conduct international competitions to appoint renowned scientists as university rectors, create boards of trustees, and invite exceptional scientists to serve as faculty deans.

Our party aims to boost Armenia’s global competitiveness by investing in free, accessible education for talented youth in high-demand professions, focusing on practical skill application. This initiative seeks to create a pool of skilled professionals to meet the workforce needs of Armenia’s growing economy.

Providing quality education for a better life is a central priority for our party.

Effective healthcare policy can directly impact life expectancy, labor productivity, and macroeconomic indicators. Our party’s strategy focuses on integrating new technologies, improving primary care quality and accessibility, and reducing medical costs.

A new living standard in Armenia requires affordable, high-quality, technologically advanced healthcare based on international best practices. Emphasizing disease prevention, we will promote healthy lifestyles, expand medical examination and vaccination services, and develop laboratory and clinical research networks. Telemedicine will serve as a primary diagnostic tool to provide prompt care to residents in the most remote areas. Equal distribution of medical resources, including doctors, nurses, hospital beds, and ambulance teams, across all regions is also essential.

Medical institutions will be equipped with modern technology, and future doctors will get top-tier education. We will ensure hospitals and medical centers are accessible to both urban and rural residents. Additionally, we will reassess current funding models and support systems to focus on improving quality of life, not just survival.

Change begins at the local level, starting with improving living environments across all settlements. Municipal authorities will focus on establishing clean, well-maintained neighborhoods, complete with comfortable squares, parks, gardens, and contemporary recreational facilities. We will launch a national program to upgrade Armenia’s road infrastructure, guaranteeing high-quality roads and sidewalks in even the most remote communities to ensure accessibility for all residents. We will also promote investment in modern bus fleets for better public transportation and introduce a ropeway network with an eco-friendly, accessible, and infrastructure-enhancing system.

We will implement the latest environmental monitoring and control systems, with a thorough analysis of food safety and water treatment standards. Air, water, and food quality should guarantee health and longevity for all residents and visitors.

Developing a post-industrial advanced society and an innovative economy requires progress in science, culture, art, and sports. National priority programs in each of these areas are needed, recognizing their impact on individuals’ multifaceted development and potential. A key priority in our strategic plan is creating conditions to enhance Armenia’s human capital, seen as a main competitive advantage in the 21st century.

7. SOCIAL JUSTICE

Armenia is a fair society for people.

In a ‘country to live’, the state must play a crucial role in addressing social inequality, ensuring justice for all societal groups, and creating conditions for personal well-being based on equal opportunities, fair wealth distribution, and public responsibility towards those with special needs.

The widening gap between the rich and poor, limited social mobility for youth, gender inequality - particularly in rural areas, unequal legal treatment, and insufficient protection of citizens’ rights contribute to growing social tension and pose a threat to national security. Considering these issues and the urgent demand for social justice, the “The Country to Live” party prioritizes the following in its strategic plan:

The “Country to Live” party advocates for transitioning from recent populist and superficial politics to decisive actions in order to establish a socially just society. Key initiatives include ensuring talented youth are represented in legislative and executive roles, implementing quotas for rural youth in certain university programs, guaranteeing equal opportunities for girls in higher education and military service, protecting young mothers from job market discrimination, and providing social benefits to low-income citizens for greater inclusion and accessibility.

These measures, along with others aimed at addressing social inequality in Armenia and building a fair society for all, are among our top priorities.

8. DETERMINED FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION, ILLEGALITY, AND CRIME

Living by laws, not ideas

Armenia must evolve into a state where order is upheld by the rule of law rather than preferences or ideologies. To eradicate corruption and lawlessness across all government levels, we need a robust civil society, a free press, effective power structures, and an independent judiciary. Beyond these, we will launch an uncompromising fight against corruption and illegality through a systematic approach. This includes enhancing legislation governing the state apparatus, increasing transparency, engaging in public awareness campaigns, and challenging the habits and attitudes that enable legal circumvention.

Furthermore, the law must be applied impartially, without favoring the elite, and should uphold the rights of every citizen equally. All Armenian citizens should trust that their rights will be protected by the law and a fair trial, even in challenging circumstances. By acting systematically and consistently, we can overcome the centuries-old legacy of inequality and the dangerous ambiguity of living by unwritten rules rather than the Constitution and existing laws.

Based on the doctrine of the supremacy of law, which governs personal security in all aspects of life, we will launch a decisive campaign against organized crime, especially targeting narcotics and their distribution. Criminals who undermine the lives of countless individuals and harm the country’s economy must face inevitable punishment.

Combating poverty is not just an economic and social justice issue for our party. By elevating living standards and addressing poverty, we will significantly reduce the conditions that foster crime, both domestic and economic. Through comprehensive measures to reinforce the rule of law, we aim to build a country where people are free from the fear of authoritarian abuse and trust in the rule of law and justice.

9. WORK AND EMPLOYMENT

Empowering Armenia’s Workforce: New Jobs and Self-Realization Opportunities for All Citizens

The “Country to Live” party envisions Armenia where every adult citizen can fully realize their abilities and talents. We believe in creating an environment where individuals can work effectively, earn a dignified living, and contribute to the prosperity of their families, communities, and the country as a whole.

Our mission is to forge the political, economic, and social conditions that promote job creation and foster private entrepreneurship, both in urban and rural areas.

Addressing unemployment requires comprehensive measures, including social benefits, improving employment services, providing labor market information, supporting small businesses, and promoting retraining programs to meet market demands.

We will establish centers across Armenia for additional education, professional and personal growth, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills training. These centers will enable people of all ages to acquire in-demand skills, contributing to increased life expectancy and active lifestyles. State and business-supported startup incubators and accelerators will offer young entrepreneurs investment opportunities and grants for promising market-driven projects.

For rural residents, we will create online schools and expert field courses teaching best practices in farming and family business on the ground. A state program supporting small rural businesses will include favorable legislation, introduction of new knowledge and technologies, preferential lending, market access, and ensuring agricultural product competitiveness. This will enable rural residents to support their families and become a significant factor in the country’s economic growth.

10. TRADITIONAL BEST VALUES - PRESERVE AND MULTIPLY

Armenian Values = Safeguarding the Best Traditional Values (Pan-Christian and Armenian) + Unique Identity + Respect for Teacher, Doctor, Soldier + Importance of Children + Elevated Role of Women + Wisdom + Eliminated Victim Mentality + Team Culture

Armenia is a country of worthy people, standing with pride and dignity.

Armenia has the potential to become a strong and capable country that will preserve and multiply its traditional values, drawing on its millennia-old glorious past and a clear vision for the future. In the face of global civilizational challenges and risks, we must protect our pan-Christian and Armenian fundamental values while keeping the country dynamic and open to progress. Our greatest national dream is anchored in our faith and church, language and culture, family institution and gene pool, statehood, and territories.

The “Country to Live” party will prioritize creating a fund to support and develop the Armenian language and culture.  Every Armenian should know their native language, history, and culture. At the same time, we need to become a multilingual nation with proficiency in Russian, European, and Eastern languages to compete effectively in global markets.

The Armenian Apostolic Church, a historical pillar of our communities, has acted as a knowledge repository and a center for enlightenment and education for centuries. It has been a stable institution that Armenians could depend on throughout their development. The church has played a crucial role in ensuring that Armenians maintain their identity, and it should continue to be a spiritual center for national unity.

We acknowledge the pressing need to restore respect for education, intellectuals, and professionalism in Armenia. Today’s society requires clear moral guidance, with educated and well-mannered individuals serving as role models for the youth. It is essential to eliminate aggression and intolerance towards differing opinions, as well as the culture of semi-criminal masculinity and impudence that has permeated public and political discourse in recent decades. Effective communication should focus on fostering dialogue and collaboratively addressing issues, rather than merely asserting superiority over others.

It is essential to reconsider the role and position of the family, aiming to achieve a harmonious balance between family and state, as well as between men and women, in raising children and supporting the family. Protecting motherhood and childhood, caring for each child as a vital part of the nation’s gene pool, and implementing demographic policies to increase the country’s population are key priorities of our party’s strategic plan.

We need to overcome the victim mentality, transform our self-image, and restore our national dignity. While proud of our rich history, we need new unifying symbols for Armenians worldwide, encouraging connection to Armenia that embraces a proactive role in the modern world. Alongside love for our homeland, we must cultivate motivating factors like realistic goals and pride in our local and national accomplishments. This will foster respect for our environment and inspire collective purpose.

Active members of Armenian society should take collective responsibility for Armenia’s future and participate in public governance. Embracing a team culture will be a key factor in strengthening national unity and values. We will create political and economic conditions to attract global Armenian resources for reforms and establish mechanisms for transparent dialogue between the government and society.

The “Country to Live” party is committed to preserving and enhancing traditional Armenian values while renewing the state, establishing foundations for sustainable development, and halting the erosion of Armenian identity worldwide.
