Marat Gerasimyan was born on November 17, 1983, in the village of Halidzor, Syunik region.
1989-2000 - He studied at the secondary school in Halidzor, Syunik Marz, Republic of Armenia.
2001-2005 - Graduated from the Faculty of Business Economics and Management of ASSU with a bachelor's degree.
2019-2022 - Graduated from the Faculty of Law at Northern University of Armenia with a master's degree.
2021 - Completed the "Personnel Management Academy" course at "Gortsq" LLC.
In 2022, he completed the "Effective Management of RA Communities" course at "Matena" School of Leadership and Professional Development CJSC.
Work:
2007-2013 - Served as the chief accountant at Halidzor Community Hall in Syunik Marz, Republic of Armenia.
2013-2016 - Served as a Mayor in the Halidzor community.
2016-2021 - He served as the head of staff in the Tatev extended community of Syunik Marz, Republic of Armenia.
From 2016 to 2020, he worked as a local expert for the "Association of Community Financiers" NGO, specializing in the "Five-year Community Development Plan", "Citizen's Budget-Grant" and "Property Valuation Analysis" programs in Syunik, Vayots Dzor, and Ararat regions.
2019-2020: Worked as an accountant at "SIPIES OIL" LLC.
Since November 2021, he has been serving as the first deputy head of the Tatev community, the head of the community council of elders, and the leader of the "Country to Live" faction in the Tatev community.
2021: Since September, he has been a member of the "Country to Live" party.
In 2023, on April 22nd, he was elected as a member of the political council of the "Country to Live" party.
He is married and has three sons.
