She wrote.
The President of Azerbaijan again talks about the return of Azerbaijanis to Armenia, to which the Prime Minister of Armenia silently rides a bicycle.
I consider it necessary to remind, including to the international partners, that citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan have never lived in the territory of Armenia.
There were about 80,000 Azerbaijanis in the territory of Armenian SSR as of 1989, who voluntarily returned to Azerbaijan solely as a result of the collapse of the USSR, just as many Azerbaijanis returned to Azerbaijan from other countries of the former USSR.
As an example, more than 100,000 Azerbaijanis left Georgia after the collapse of the USSR.
There is no any referrence, even in Azerbaijani sources, that Azerbaijanis were forced to leave Armenia. Thus, they have already returned and returned to their homeland, Azerbaijan. Contrary to that, more than 400,000 Armenians were subjected to genocide in the territory of Azerbaijan and forced to displacement.
Meanwhile, the comparison with the Armenians who lived in Artsakh, in their homeland, for thousands of years having Armenian belongingness towards their motherland, is completely unacceptable.
Therefore, the comments of the Azerbaijani side are expressions of another nonsense, the purpose of which is the continued aggression against Armenia and the Armenian people.
